My Toe River Collage

Howdy folks!  Tonight my Momma Sharon created her traditional collage from our camping trip.  I know she had a hard time picking out just a few photos from the hundreds that she took last week at Toe River Campground.  I love the ones she featured . . . especially the biggest one of yours truly!

I hope you are out there camping somewhere this week because the lower temperatures and no humidity are a treat for this time of year.  My cousin Pod will be leaving for his big F.R.O.G. Rally on Friday and I wish him and his peeps a safe trip.  Until we all hit the road again, always remember . . .

Super Pot Happy

How 'bout that for an intriguing title and what could it possibly mean?

Shortly after I pulled into Toe River Campground behind Pod and got settled in my site, Uncle Rob came over with a happy for Momma Sharon.  The minute we saw it, we knew it would be perfect for our favorite cooking appliance . . . our Super Pot!

I know you are probably wondering what in the world is a Super Pot. Well, the best way I can describe it to you is that it's an indoor grill that does it all . . . grills, bakes, boils, steams, and slow cooks just about anything you can imagine. Momma's friend Toolbelt Sue even makes pancakes in it!  It's light weight, non-stick, has a raised grill surface and for campers like my Mom, it eliminates a whole bunch of other cooking appliances!

Ever since my Camper Mom got her Super Pot at Target, she's been looking for the perfect bag to carry it in.  Well guess what?  That happy from Pod, Uncle Rob, and Aunt Trisha does the trick!!  And the icing on the cake is that it's embroidered with our names on top . . . how cool is that?!

Thanks R, T, & P!! Have a great week everyone and until you drop by for another SplashT@B Story, always remember . . .

Four New Stickers For My Door

Hey y'all, thanks for coming by for another SplashT@B Story.  My tale today is kinda short, but pretty sweet!  Momma Sharon has always bought me little happies from the places we visit.  She started out with magnets that are attached to my fridge door, but she ran out of room. The next logical thing was to get decals from our locations and stick them on the inside of my door.

Some of my T@B brothers and sisters aren't really into decorating and are content with simple surroundings.  Not me and my Camper Mom! We love to go all artsy-fartsy.  If you look at this photo you will see all my magnets, my door decals, AND all my rally buttons hanging to the left of the door.

This week while camping with Pod (who loves decals and stickers too), our folks scored four new decals for us.  Check them out . . .

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  I gotta get back to mine, so I'll end my little short Story here.  Until we meet again, always remember . . .

What A Week!!

Hey everyone!  What a wonderful week I've had camping with Momma Sharon, Pod, Uncle Rob, and Aunt Trisha.  Leaving on Monday morning, we all traveled up to Toe River Campground outside of Burnsville, NC a few miles off of Highway 80.

I've never been there and neither had my buddy Pod, so we were pretty excited about this trip.  Sometimes we just have to take charge and plan our own outings together.  If we left it up to the moms and dads, we might not get to camp during Pod's summer break!

We were side by side in sites 91 and 92 and it didn't matter one single bit that our sites were sunny, because the temperatures were so cool during the day. Despite some rain on Wednesday afternoon, the weather was ideal.

Pod and I got to hang out in the campground all day while Sharon, Rob and Trisha were out getting their sight-seeing thing on.  They came back home every day talking about all the fun things they did and all the beautiful scenery they saw.  We missed them while they were gone, but we loved hearing their stories!

As always, my Camper Mom took oodles and oodles of photos of me and I want to show you my favorite of the week.  I sure am photogenic . . . tee hee.

Thanks for stopping by for my Toe River Campground Story and I have a few more for you in the days to come, so drop back by when you have a chance.  Until then, always remember . . .

Hitching Up For The 4th

Happy almost 4th of July!

Remember the funky vintage-looking photo of a T@B that I showed you a few days ago?  Well, here's another one that someone created!  A couple interesting things in this one are the tire that appears to be sunken down into the ground and the fact that the door is on the driver's side and not curb side of the photo. Oh, and a pair of mules are pulling it . . . LOL!

I hope Arthur doesn't interrupt your camping plans.  Be careful out there this holiday weekend and always remember . . .
