Stocking The Coffee Bar

At our upcoming Blue Ridge Rally, Momma Sharon has added a new activity that involves something near and dear to her heart . . . coffee. Every morning at 8:00, our Coffee Bar will be open for business!  We will have freshly brewed hot coffee for everyone with all the trimmings available to anyone who drops by.  Eight o'clock might be a little early for some of our campers, so it's OK if they come in their jammies!

Today Mom took her Coffee Bar shopping list to Walmart and she came home with a whole bunch of goodies!

First and foremost, she got the Mr. Coffee machine that she had researched and found to be the second best one out there.  It's got lots of cool features that she wanted and it's gonna brew up some fine grounds for everyone.

That big ole plastic bin in my signature color will store and transport everything very conveniently both here at home and on the trip to Raccoon Holler Campground.  She stocked up on 200 coffee filters and two rolls of paper towels too.

I suggested that she do this Coffee Bar up right and borrow items from The Coffee Cup . . . Melmac cream and sugar bowls, vintage coffee spoons, plastic tablecloth, a couple serving trays, her cute coffee apron, and Susan's java rug, just to name a few.  I also thought it would be a good idea to snitch Wendy's tea pot so we could have hot water for all the tea drinkers . . . I'm smart like that!

She also got a new 80-foot outdoor power cord, a couple of cable wraps to keep things tidy, and an outdoor adaptor so she can plug in several items at a time at the Bar.  I get kinda tickled every time I think about her checking items off her to-do list with a big grin on her face!

We still need to get some Dunkin' Donuts Coffee, some yummy creamers, and that will just about wrap up getting ready for The Coffee Bar.  That can wait until a day or two before the rally though.  I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty excited!!

I hope you are having a super-duper weekend like we are.  Have fun and always remember . . .

"Peace, Love & Camping!"
