On this last day of 2017, I want to wish all my camping peeps and friends a big ole Happy New Year!
This past year was full of fun camping trips with all the people we love. Murphy, Mom, and I made another trip around the sun together as we camped and cooked, hung out with our peeps on 8 different trips, and I wrote 58 Stories! We covered almost 3,000 miles and had 56 sleep-outs together! Mom is a stickler for keeping details about our adventures together and here's how that all played out this past year.
My Camper Mom cooked dozens and dozens of Dutch oven dishes, we watched many gorgeous sunsets, and we hosted 4 gatherings for our friends. It was a good year!
Miss Murphy surprised us all by making it to her 14th birthday in September and joining me on all but one adventure!
We experienced the highest of highs in November when Jessie married Charlie.
But we hit the lowest of lows in September when Roger Dodger left us.
Believe it or not, there are already 8 camping trips on our 2018 calendar, so there's lots to look forward to with Momma Sharon.
